Financial Accountant (Health)
Location : Pretoria
Our client in the Health Industry is looking to hire a Financial Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Addressing and resolving queries timeously and effectively
- Accurate monthly management accounts
- All transactions for the month captured accurately and are completed.
- Maintain general ledger.
- Completion of monthly VAT returns
- Fixed Asset Register in collaboration with Procurement Manager
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and financial yearend.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Review general ledger to identify outlying transactions.
Skills and Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.A relevant tertiary qualification (A BCom or similar degree or diploma).A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ accounting experience in a healthcare environment.Previous experience in dealing with VAT and Income Tax mattersKnowledge of Pastel Accounting SoftwareAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly, MS Excel skills (formatting, sorting, basic math’s, filter, lookup values, conditional values etc.)Relevant computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)#J-18808-Ljbffr
