Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support agile delivery within a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a strong facilitator and servant leader who can coach teams, remove blockers, and drive consistent delivery outcomes across complex initiatives.

You will work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to embed agile best practices, improve flow, and ensure teams deliver value predictably and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Facilitation

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Ensure Scrum principles and agile frameworks are correctly applied and continuously improved

• Support teams in delivering high-quality increments each sprint

Coaching & Enablement

• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on agile values and ways of working

• Foster self-organising, high-performing teams

• Guide teams through agile maturity and continuous improvement

Impediment & Risk Management

• Proactively identify, manage, and remove delivery impediments

• Escalate risks and dependencies where necessary, ensuring transparency

• Support teams in managing dependencies across squads and platforms

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined, prioritised backlogs

• Facilitate alignment between business, technology, and delivery teams

• Provide clear visibility on delivery progress, risks, and performance metrics

Governance & Reporting

• Track and report on sprint metrics, velocity, and delivery health

• Support agile reporting requirements within an enterprise governance framework

• Ensure compliance with internal delivery standards and controls

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum master's in enterprise or large-scale environments

• Strong hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and agile delivery

• Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery frameworks

• Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams (, QA, business)

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments

• Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)

• Jira / Confluence or similar agile tooling experience

Qualifications & Certifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (IT, Business, or related)

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent) – essential

• Agile / SAFe certifications – advantageous
