Requirements

  • Must have an analytical mindset and be able to pull data and work on reports remotely and on own basis.
  • Strong SOP and Documentation skills and ability to work with DevOps or GitHub advantageous.
  • Must be able to speak to users at their level and understand business problems and terminology once learned.
  • Must be able to work independently and proactively.

Specifics

  • 5 to 8 years experience.
  • Power BI Development and Administration
  • Report and SQL Security
  • SQL Querying
  • SSRS Report development
  • Excel development
  • ADVANTAGEOUS : SSAS Development
  • ADVANTAGEOUS : AI skills with RAG
  • ADVANTAGEOUS : Certification in Power BI & OR SQL
  • HOURS : 20 hours a week (more to follow based on customer interest)

    • The role is remote-based and the team must have their own hardware. A weekly meeting will be held and ideally the person will be based in the greater Durban area, although anywhere in SA can work as well.
