Business Analyst IT

Responsibilities

As part of the delivery team the business analyst:

• Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with stakeholders across all levels
• Analyse and document requirements using suitable BA techniques.
• Create low fidelity wireframes
• Translate the requirements into clear concise user stories with acceptance criteria
• Communicate agreed requirements stakeholders and to the delivery team
• Maintain a steady backlog of requirements that are ready to be pulled by the delivery team
• Validate that requirements have been met
• Maintain changes to requirements
• Assist the product owner with backlog refinement and prioritization
• Assist in drafting user and training documentation
• Be available to the team and participate in all Agile meetings such as sprint planning standups reviews and retrospectives
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all involved parties
• Manage own self-development

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Business Analysis Certifications

Experience

• Must have 3 years Agile Business Analysis experience in an IT department
• Knowledge and understanding of project scoping planning and prioritization
• Knowledge of UX/UI methodology is beneficial
