Job Summary :

The Collections Associate plays a key role in managing past-due accounts by ensuring timely communication with tenants maintaining accurate records and supporting the overall collections process. This role involves handling both outbound and inbound calls tracking data generating reports and assisting with special projects.

Key Responsibilities :

The scope of services shall include but is not limited to the following :

• Make outbound calls to tenants with past-due accounts reviewing and taking appropriate action based on daily collections reports.
• Monitor and track payment statuses using the collections tracker ensuring records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Receive and respond to inbound calls from tenants regarding outstanding balances providing clear and supportive assistance.
• Compile and report on collections statistics including delinquency data and manage related support tickets and emails.
• Manage special projects as assigned ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely execution.
• Maintain detailed delinquency records and provide regular updates to supervisors and key stakeholders.
• Void accounts deemed uncollectible and forward them to third-party collections agencies for further handling.
• Process and accurately record tenant payments for outstanding invoices.
• Address and resolve chargeback disputes ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up.
