Data Analyst - Global Markets Integration

Location : Sandton - hybrid role

Contract : 6-Month Renewable

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong systems integration experience in the financial services sector to join a dynamic global markets project. This initiative is focused on implementing real-time pre-trade compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence across multiple jurisdictions.

The system is data-heavy and populated with complex regulatory information from various countries. Your role will be to integrate South African market regulations , working closely with multiple stakeholders to define, analyse, and deliver robust data solutions.

This is not a heads-down data role success requires someone professional, dynamic, and highly communicative , able to engage with business and technical teams alike, and comfortable translating regulatory, process, and data requirements into practical solutions. You will thrive in a high-functioning, intellectually curious team that enjoys tackling complex problems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed business and systems analysis at a transaction flow level with SMEs.
• Define source-to-target data field relationships and complete data mapping for specific use cases.
• Establish and document data standards, transformation rules, and integration requirements .
• Collect and analyse data to support requirement validation and test case development.
• Provide input into the banks data architecture to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Take ownership of test planning and execution , collaborating with SMEs for system integration testing and UAT.
