Professional Nurse - Theatre - Bloemfontein Job Summary Duties & Responsibilities: Deliver quality peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions Create a learning environment that builds staff competence Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged Requirements: Diploma in General Nursing. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). A Diploma or Certificate in Operating theatre technique would be advantageous. Theatre scrubbing, anesthetics and recovery experience is essential. Experience within a private hospital environment is advantageous. Skilled in all basic nursing procedures as well as procedures specific to the operating theatre environment.
