What you will be doing

  • Contribute practical knowledge and insights during Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint planning to ensure well-defined and feasible work items.
  • Contribute to drafting and maintaining detailed test plans test cases and automated regression scripts for continuous system validation.
  • Participate in the UAT handover process to business teams providing support and coordination alongside Business Analysts and Junior Test Analysts.
  • Facilitate and engage in technical and functional walkthrough sessions for team and stakeholder alignment.
  • Work cross-functionally with Development and Business Analysis teams to ensure seamless delivery throughout the software development lifecycle including critical maintenance releases.
  • Actively participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups Product Backlog Refinement Sprints etc.)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development actively seeking opportunities to upskill to an intermediate level.

What our client is looking for

  • A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
  • Familiarity with Life Insurance processes and regulations would be highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools such as Pilotfish and Hyphen and proficiency in Postman.
  • Proficient in using Postman for API testing and JIRA for bug and project tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform thorough regression testing utilizing tools like Scribe to ensure software stability and quality across releases.
