Job description

ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH AFRICAWe are looking for aShopify Developerbased inSouth Africato join our growing digital agency. You will focus exclusively onShopify storefront development, working closely with our designer and project manager to turn Figma designs into beautiful, high-performing online stores.

What You'll Work On

  • Building Shopify stores from Figma designs (custom and theme-based)
  • Customising and extending Shopify themes using Liquid
  • Installing and configuring Shopify apps and integrations (email, CRM, analytics, etc.)
  • Implementing responsive, mobile-first layouts with attention to design precision
  • Optimising site performance, UX, and conversion
  • Collaborating with our designer and project manager to deliver pixel-perfect builds
  • Managing domain setup, app configuration, and launch preparations

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience building Shopify stores (ideally 5+ full projects)
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, functional Shopify pages
  • Familiarity with Shopify app ecosystem (Klaviyo, , Recharge, etc.)
  • Understanding of Shopify metafields, sections, and dynamic content
  • Ability to troubleshoot app or theme conflicts independently
  • Excellent communication skills and good English proficiency
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems

  • Experience with Shopify Plus or headless setups
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for Shopify stores
  • Knowledge of performance optimisation (PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals)
  • Understanding of eCommerce UX / UI principles

  • Remote-first — but you must be based in South Africa
  • You’ll work Macedonian business hours
  • We use Google Chat, Asana, and Figma for collaboration
  • You’ll work closely with a designer and project manager on most builds
