About The Role
We are a small, fast‑paced marketing and social media management team seeking a motivated Social Media and Graphic Design Specialist . This unique hybrid role focuses on two essential functions : monitoring and optimizing small‑scale paid advertising (Google / Meta Ads) , and creating compelling graphic design and social media content .
This position is ideal for an early to mid‑career professional who is analytically curious and has a sharp eye for design. You will be the crucial link between creative content and ad performance, working to understand and improve key metrics. Aptitude, a foundational understanding of numbers, and a portfolio are required.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Monitoring & Optimization (Performance Focus)
- Ad Oversight : Monitor performance for small‑scale paid advertising campaigns (Meta and Google Ads) with typical monthly spends around .
- Optimization & Reporting : Focus on understanding the numbers at a 10,000‑foot scale. You will monitor key metrics like Click‑Through Rate (CTR) and conversion rates, identify areas for improvement, and run initial optimizations.
- Performance Feedback : Assist in tracking, preparing reports, and providing insight into ad performance. The Founder will refine the detailed work, but your role is to provide consistent monitoring and preliminary analysis.
Graphic Design & Social Media (Creative Focus)
Custom Content Creation : Create custom, engaging graphic designs for an array of clients (including menus and event needs for a primary restaurant client).Tool Proficiency : Utilize tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce graphics beyond standard templates. We are open to the use of AI for design ideation and organic content creation.Content Strategy : Conceptualize how design choices directly improve ad performance and overall social media engagement.Channel Management : Manage social media channels, including posting, scheduling, and community engagement.Required Skills & Profile
Experience Level : Junior role; we prioritize aptitude and a conceptual understanding over deep experience.Hybrid Skillset (MUST HAVE) : Proven capability in both :Paid Ads : Foundational knowledge of Google and Meta Ads, and the ability to optimize and report on their performance (CTR, conversion).Graphic Design : Demonstrated design capability with a portfolio showcasing work beyond simple templates.Technical Tools : Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent. One or all platforms is great) and experience using paid ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads).Analytical Mindset : Must understand basic analytics, enjoy monitoring data, and be able to draw high‑level conclusions about ad performance.Soft Skills : Self‑sufficient, proactive, adaptable, and a clear communicator with strong written English.Collaboration : Able to handle multiple clients and deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.Position Details
