Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review reports for Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM)
Compile Conduct of Business Returns (CBR) and ASISA submissions
Support IFRS17 reporting with foundational understanding
Perform data build-ups, validations, and reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and consistency across actuarial datasets
Conduct reserving and analysis for guaranteed products
Calculate Embedded Value and analyze changes over time
Perform surplus analysis and new business profitability reviews
Investigate experience trends and review actuarial bases
Assist in setting and refining assumptions for models and forecasts
Provide valuation insights and reporting to support distribution teams
Deliver business intelligence and strategic input
Contribute to automation initiatives within the actuarial function
Enhance efficiency and accuracy through system and tool development
Job Experience and Skills Required :
A Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science or Business Science
Minimum of 4 Actuarial exams passed
Minimum 24 years experience in the Life Insurance industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with Prophet, Moses, Qlikview, SQL, R, or Python is advantageous
