The President Hotel is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, and we are creating new opportunities for Waitrons to join our Food & Beverage team.

We are seeking professional and service-driven Waitrons to deliver world-class dining experiences at The President Hotel. The ideal candidates will have recent experience in hotels or upmarket restaurants, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Experience & Requirements

South African citizen with a valid ID (non-negotiable)

At least 2 years’ experience in a hotel or upmarket restaurant within the last 2 years

No employment gaps longer than 5 months unless valid reasons are clearly provided

Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability

Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Team player with a guest-first mindset

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service in line with hotel standards

Take guest orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly

Ensure tables, service stations, and dining areas are clean, well-presented, and fully stocked

Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care

Upsell menu items, wine, and specials to maximise revenue and guest experience

Support colleagues and supervisors in delivering seamless restaurant and banqueting operations

Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times
