Overview

Our client in Air conditioning industry is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer / Technician to take ownership of the design, installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all HVAC systems are designed and operated to the highest standards of efficiency, performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee installation of HVAC systems for new and existing projects.
• Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to optimize performance.
• Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and cost estimates for HVAC-related works.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
• Ensure compliance with SANS, ASHRAE, and relevant industry codes and standards.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for technical coordination.
• Provide energy efficiency recommendations and implement sustainability solutions.
