It starts with YOU. In this role, you will :
- Effectively plan, organize, lead and control finishing materials and wadding based on production requirements to support departmental KPI’s.
- Maintain good safety, housekeeping, storage and housekeeping standards in work area.
- Incumbent is directly responsible for wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber, chemicals, finishing materials and wadding system stock accuracy vs Physical stock to enable accuracy in planning production.
- Responsible for managing daily cycle counts, organizing and coordinating full counts of waste paper, wetlap, virgin fiber, chemicals, wadding and finishing Materials.
- Call-off consignment stock from suppliers to ensure sufficient materials are available for production and to keep materials to the required maximum.
- Direct accountability for control and efficient operation of Warehouse Control System (WCS) for wastepaper, wetlap, finishing materials and wadding.
- Control and manage trial materials, facilitate runouts by managing slow moving and redundant wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber, finishing materials and wadding to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with Production Planning to reduce Finishing Materials and Wadding holding value.
- Liaise with Wadding Planner regarding revised plans.
- Oversee the movement, routing and processing of NCR’s and substandard Wadding.
- Responsible for the daily SAP processing of wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber finishing materials and wadding movements About Us Huggies®.
