Senior Software Quality Analyst Cape Town, Newlands

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Analyst with a strong focus on web application testing to ensure our digital platforms deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web technologies, test automation, and modern QA practices, as well as the ability to lead quality initiatives across multiple teams. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies for our web applications, collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and UX designers to uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you will be doing

• Creating and maintaining both manual and automated test cases
• Story testing as per the Scrum methodology
• Verification of documentation during story testing
• Contribute to release readiness by conducting regression, smoke, integration, and system testing
• Making sure the CI builds are installed and reporting when issues occur
• Release management
• Following agile development methodologies and scrum management techniques
• Maintenance of test and development environments
