Required Skills :
Support the preparation and maintenance of the Transfer Pricing policy including related research. Handle withholding tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions. Prepare and submit income tax calculations and returns for several countries including provisional tax. Conduct tax compliance reviews and assist with any related investigations. Reconcile tax accounts with statements issued by Revenue Authorities. Perform payroll reconciliations comparing payroll records to the general ledger and posting corrections where required (including Balance Sheet and Income Statement reconciliations). Maintain the fixed asset register : create new assets reconcile the register to the general ledger monthly and process depreciation runs. Complete bank reconciliations for salary and supplier accounts investigate reconciling items and process adjustments as necessary. Assist with monthly VAT submissions and perform VAT reasonability checks. Manage intercompany accounts : confirm balances ensure intercompany transfers are processed across entities and record any realised or unrealised foreign exchange adjustments. Support monthly stock valuation processes and adjustments to ensure accurate reporting. Contribute to Cost of Sales calculations to ensure precise reporting on Gross Profit margins per store and entity. Provide ad hoc assistance to the Financial Manager and collaborate closely as needed. Prepare accurate detailed monthly cash flow statements on time. Analyse and report key variances between actual results and budget to identify monthly shortfalls or surpluses. Recommend cost-saving measures and operational improvements to support financial performance. Oversee banking activities to ensure adherence to company procedures and flag any irregularities. Deliver timely and accurate weekly and monthly financial and analytical reports to management. Ensure prompt authorisation and processing of financial contracts. Prepare management pack reports including analytical reviews and back-testing of store viability studies. Present recommendations based on analysis to support informed management decisions. Conduct and update store viability studies to ensure timely implementation of findings. Provide post-implementation back-testing and feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain compliance by : Overseeing the internal financial control environment. Ensuring ongoing tax compliance and monitoring tax penalties. Maintaining adherence to IFRS / GAAP reporting standards. Coordinate internal control and risk management processes. Plan and manage external audit preparation to achieve clean audit results. Analyse and account for foreign exchange movements related to supplier payments. Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Line Manager.
