Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and independent professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for maintaining precise financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable : Manage all aspects of AP and AR, including processing vendor invoices, generating customer invoices, and overseeing collections.

Reconciliations : Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Month-End Close : Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.

Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, such as the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement.

Payroll Support : Assist with the processing of payroll, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.

Data Management : Maintain the integrity of financial data within our accounting software and other systems.

Required Qualifications

Experience : 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.

Technical Proficiency : Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite ) and a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets .

Accounting Knowledge : A solid understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).

Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Independence : The ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Setup : A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A CPA or other relevant accounting certification.

Experience working remotely for a US-based or international company.
