Job Title : Electronic Technician – Simulator Repairs

? Location : Boksburg, Gauteng
? Salary : R20 000 – R25 000 (Basic) + Medical Aid

Introduction :

Our client, a leader in simulation technology, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components in simulators. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and working with complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and repair faults on electronic components of simulators

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability

Replace or repair defective parts, such as circuit boards, sensors, wiring, and connectors

Conduct system tests and quality checks to verify proper operation

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Liaise with engineering or design teams on recurring issues or design improvements

Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards

Requirements :

Relevant N6, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic fault-finding and repairs (preferably in a technical environment)

Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and testing tools

Ability to work independently and within a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Based in or able to commute to Boksburg

Package & Benefits :

Basic Salary : R20 000 – R25 000 (depending on experience)
