JOB DESCRIPTION
Asset and Warehouse Management
- Management of the Assets processes
- Interaction with internal and external stakeholders when it comes to movement of Assets and ensured that necessary documentation of forms is completed
- Update and Maintained Asset register, ensured Quarterly / Annually stock take and Disposal of Assets
- Facilitate and coordinating timeous Bar-coding of Assets
- Maintenance and Safeguarding of Assets
- Conduct quarterly spot checks and annual Asset Verification
- Report all the loss of Assets
- Ensure timeous reporting to National Department and resolve the discrepancies of the Assets
- Perform any other assigned duties in relation to the implementation of the SCM system of the Department
Warehouse
Ensure compliance and implement SCM policies, Delegation of Authority, Treasury Regulations and Standard Operating ProceduresManage the activities within a warehouse by ensuring Inventory control and accountability Ensuring that stock taking is conducted Bi-annually and again theoretical stock balances is performed on monthly basisEnsuring that replenishment of stock is in line with procurement regulationsIdentify redundant and obsolete stock Collect and receive goods from the SuppliersIssuing of stock to different SectionUpdating of BIN and TALLY cardsEnsure efficient stock counts and submission of reports thereofDealing with auxiliary service within the DepartmentJOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Applicants must be in a possession of a grade 12 Certificate.
Job related knowledge : Knowledge of supply Chain Management. Knowledge of Treasury regulations.
Knowledge of Government stores policies.
Job related skills : Computer literacy. Communication skills (verbal and written). Organising skills. Good interpersonal skills
