Senior Technician

Job descriptionInstallation and Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment; Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client; Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company; Adhering to Health and Safety regulations; Feedback to SLA Manager; Problem Solving; Project Management of small projects; Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets; Submission of fault reports on the system; Revision of Work in Progress reports and the financial implications thereof; Available to be on standby if and when required;
 Preferred qualifications / attributes / skills :
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- PSIRA certification;
- Valid Driverâs license;
- Proven track record in the Electronics Security Industry;
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
- Sound knowledge / experience and understanding of Access Control, Intrusion Detection and IP surveillance systems;
- Strong network knowledge would be advantageous;
- Relevant experience in SQL would be advantageous;
- Relevant certification / experience on Avigilon;
- Relevant certification / experience on Milestone
- Relevant certification / experience on Prowatch :
- Relevant certification / experience on Risco;
- Relevant certification / experience on Fire systems (Ziton ZP2);
- Relevant certification / experience on Gallager;
- Excellent security equipment installation skills;
- Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills;
- Excellent written & verbal communication and skills;
- A good working knowledge of MS Office;
