We are hiring an SEO & Content Marketing Manager for a medical & behavioral health organization in the healthcare industry. This role is ideally suited for someone who has a proven track record of driving organic traffic that converts, leading SEO initiatives, managing content workflows, and optimizing technical and on-page SEO for a fast‑growing medical organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy and calendars focused on ranking growth, quality traffic acquisition, and conversion improvement.
- Lead all technical SEO efforts including site audits, indexing improvements, URL structure optimization, schema markup, page speed enhancements, and crawl efficiency.
- Conduct competitor analysis to inform keywords, content opportunities, and SERP positioning.
- Monitor search trends and algorithm changes to continually adjust strategy.
- Lead outreach for link building using competitor backlink maps to guide outreach.
- Guide and oversee a team of content writers to produce medically accurate, SEO‑optimized, conversion‑focused content.
- Build content briefs, keyword strategies, and quality standards to ensure consistency across all digital assets.
- Manage editorial calendars that support organic growth objectives.
- Optimize existing blogs, landing pages, and service pages for improved rankings and conversions.
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other reporting tools.
- Provide regular insights and reporting on keyword growth, traffic patterns, and conversion performance.
- Identify new opportunities for ranking improvements and content expansion within the medical / behavioral health niche.
Required Qualifications
Proven success increasing organic traffic and online conversions within the last 12–24 months.2+ years experience in technical SEO and content SEO.2+ years experience leading and mentoring content writers and managing an editorial workflow.2+ years experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.Strong understanding of medical or healthcare content best practices (E‑E‑A‑T, compliance requirements, authoritative sourcing).Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).Experience in Google PPC campaign management, including keyword structuring, ad copy optimization, and ROAS improvement.Familiarity with multi‑location healthcare SEO strategies.Required Skills & Tools
