To lead the development and deployment of strategic process improvement initiatives across the plant ensuring optimal team and production performance. The Senior Process Engineer translates strategic objectives into actionable plans drives cost reduction enhances product quality and ensures alignment with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement strategic objectives for the process and quality division.
• Analyse plant losses and lead cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop and execute annual improvement plans aligned with operational goals.
• Manage and mentor direct reports fostering a high-performance culture.
• Promote a safe inclusive and innovative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety health and environmental policies.
• Formulate and manage cost-effective raw material and packaging strategies.
• Maintain and improve product performance based on customer and market feedback.
• Ensure adherence to national quality standards (e.g. SANS 266).
• Oversee compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 and support WCM initiatives.
• Sustain and improve LIMS systems and QMS outputs.
• Lead new product development in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
• Ensure QMS integrity during change implementation.
• Promote a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement.
• Deliver on agreed quality and control plan targets.
