Overview
The Allocator is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Merchandise Strategy by conducting store and merchandise-related analysis. They liaise with suppliers, stores, and the Distribution Centre regarding stock levels, deliveries, and general queries, ensuring effective stock management and timely delivery of stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with Planners and Buyers to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy
- Dual role, working as an Allocator and Merchandise assistant
- Store and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis
- Liaising with suppliers, stores and the Distribution Centre regarding stock levels, deliveries and general queries
- Monitoring the delivery of stock and take appropriate action
- Replenishment management
- Effective communication with stores & Operations
- Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action
- Regular store visits where appropriate
