Job description

A well-established brokerage firm in Bellville is seeking a Short-Term Insurance Representative with 5 - 7 years’ experience in brokering and underwriting both Commercial and Domestic lines.

Responsibilities

  • Handle portfolios for both Commercial and Domestic clients
  • Deal with general insurance and policy specific queries
  • Deal with issuing new policies, policy renewals and maintenance
  • Process and manage claims

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • FAIS qualified and accredited
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in both Commercial and Domestic lines
  • Bi-lingual (Eng / Afr)
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong admin and organisational skills
  • CIMS (advantage)
  • Immediately available
  • Preference will be given to mature (40+) female applicants

  • Work Hours : Mon – Fri 08 : 00 – 17 : 00
  • Reporting Structure : Manager
  • Salary : R25,000 - R30,000
  • Location : Tyger Valley
  • Employment Type : Permanent
