Seafreight Director / National Seafreight Manager

Our client is looking for an extremely strong seafreight head who will be responsible for achieving and exceeding budgets, negotiating with carriers at a high-level, support their respective national teams and conduct strategy sessions to support growth for the seafreight division of South Africa.

Requirements :

• A minimum of 15 years experience in seafreight operations, of which at least 10 years must have been in a senior management capacity leading large, multi-site or national teams.
• Bachelors degree in commerce / business at NQF level 7 or a FIATA diploma.
• A business-related post graduate programme highly advantageous.
