Job descriptionA degree in law with a specialisation relevant to the technology and telecoms industry. Proven experience handling commercial and corporate legal matters. Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Knowledge of regulatory compliance within the telecommunication and Information and Technology sector Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be willing to travel within Johannesburg The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. The Legal Advisor will handle the following in respect of their duties and responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to support business decisions and operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage legal risks by identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation processes as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address legal queries and challenges.
- Stay updated on legal developments within the technology and telecommunication sector.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on legal and compliance matters.
