Management Accountant & Data Analyst

Are you passionate about numbers insights and driving profitability We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant & Data Analyst to join our team. This role will play a key part in analysing financial data optimising costs and developing innovative financial models to support business growth.

Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation monitor gross profits and provide data-driven insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Financial Analysis

Analyse key financial data to determine gross profits of various projects and product lines

Identify profit losses recommend turnaround strategies and highlight focus areas to maximise profitability

Streamline financial processes for greater efficiency

Data Management & Reporting

Extract and manage data from multiple sources including ERP systems and external databases

Build and maintain datasets for analysis using tools like Power BI and Mercur

Develop dashboards and automated reports tracking KPIs sales pricing trends procurement and operational data

Continuously improve reporting systems and processes

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare budgets and cost reports with a focus on gross profit and stock control

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved stock management

Provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making

Costing & Process Optimisation

Review and implement accurate costings to ensure product line profitability

Develop cost-effective financial procedures and risk mitigation strategies

Conduct research to enhance and refine financial models

Requirement

Grade 12 (Matric).

BCom in Cost Accounting Financial Management Agricultural Economics or similar (Preferred).

CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting (Preferred).

Experience as a Management Accountant and Data Analyst ideally in agriculture or food production.

Working knowledge of Power BI and Mercur (Preferred).
