The successful candidate will conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
Ensure accurate, timely results that meet set specifications.
Assist with troubleshooting in production, investigating consumer complaints, support sensory analysis and providing feedback.
Maintain Quality Management Systems and keep documentation up to date.
Handle lab administration, data capturing, report compilation, sample dispatch to third-party labs, and manage stock and budgets.
Knowledge and Skills :
The successful candidate will have a Matric certificate accompanied by a diploma / degree in Food Science or relevant similar science qualification and relevant science background and training.
Preferred candidates must have 1-2 years of Microbiological Laboratory working experience in FMCG environment, should be able to produce accurate and neat work, have good organizational and communication skills and be reliable.
