Role Summary
We are actively recruiting for an experienced Tax Senior Associate. Vacancy at Office : Waterfall (Midrand). Division : PwC Private Tax Services. Job Title : Senior Associate. The primary focus of the role is to prepare and manage (with the support of the manager / senior manager) multiple audits of tax, compliance and tax accounting assignments in the PwC Private tax practice and to deliver quality tax services.
Responsibilities
Manage and perform corporate tax accounting assignments.Manage and perform audit of tax assignments.Manage and perform corporate tax compliance assignments, including preparation, review and submission of : Income tax, Provisional tax returns, SARS verification requests, withholdings tax returns.Build new and manage existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of client’s businesses.Liaise with SARS and handle queries raised by SARS.Engage in technical discussions with colleagues and clients and draft written technical responses.Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals and comply with firm risk policies and procedures.Demonstrate use of AI tools in deliverables and internal processes.Qualifications and Experience
BCom Accounting or Post graduate Degree or Diploma in taxation completed.Completed SAIT articles.At least 1 year post SAIT article experience in a corporate income tax position.Skill Set Required
