Maintenance Manager – Luxury Lodge | Ceres, Western Cape
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join a luxury lodge in Ceres, Western Cape. This role offers the opportunity to oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring the lodge remains in excellent condition and delivers a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and supervise all maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure property upkeep and operational efficiency
Lead, train, and coordinate maintenance staff to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, costs, and procurement of materials and equipment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Respond promptly to maintenance issues or emergencies to minimise disruption to guests and operations
Collaborate with lodge management and other departments to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment servicing
Requirements :
Proven experience in a maintenance management role within luxury hospitality or a similar environment
Strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplines (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general repairs)
Leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
Professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach
