Good communication, organizational and leadership skills are a must, and strong technical ability is advantageous. What Will You Do

The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring the relevant project meets objectives on time and on budget by increasing key stakeholder adoption and usage of the relevant solution. They will also support the Decision Inc. project team in integrating change management activities into the overarching project plan. The primary focus is on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisational structures. The role is to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage of the solution and minimize resistance. The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher realization of, and proficiency with the changes that impact key stakeholders, increasing benefit realization, value, ROI and achievement of outcomes. Fully accountable for the success of Change Management on the relevant project and the driver that holds the Change Management Stream together.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis : Conduct impact analysis and assess change readiness; interview key stakeholders; review existing business processes vs. to be; and kick off the Change Ambassador network.
  • Design : Apply structured change management methodology and tools to create a Change Management Strategy that supports adoption and adaptation to changes required by the technology implementation.
  • Design : Develop a detailed internal communication plan and external communication campaign aligned to the project plan.
  • Implementation : Execute the Change Management Strategy and associated interventions.
  • Implementation : Execute the internal and external communication plans.
  • Support : Assist relevant stakeholders with support from the Change Ambassador network during project development, testing and training phases.
  • Documentation and Training : Provide input on document requirements and support the design and delivery of user training.
  • Measurement and Reporting : Design and deliver structured measurement of Change Management success.
  • Reporting : Weekly report to PMO Manager on Change Management progress; weekly and / or monthly client reporting on Change Management progress.
  • Finance : Contribute to financial planning within the area; identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and operational efficiency; manage resources; provide input into risk identification and communicate recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Organizational Psychology, Communications or related field.
  • Entry-level certifications (or willingness to obtain) such as : Prosci Change Management Certification (highly regarded in consulting).
  • ITIL Foundation (IT service management context).
  • Agile, Scrum or SAFe Fundamentals (digital transformation projects).
  • Project Management fundamentals (CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation).
  • Understanding of digital transformation concepts (cloud migration, ERP implementation such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), automation, data & analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of IT project lifecycle and systems implementation processes.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks (ADKAR, Kotter’s 8 Steps, Lewin’s Change Model).
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (Microsoft Office : PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Miro).
