Job descriptionAn opportunity has become available for a General Laboratory Assistant : Inventory and Processing. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation, delivery and collection of blood bank hampers, routine bio-hazardous waste disposal and cleaning duties according to relevant SOP’s. Blood hamper preparation, collection, packing received stock and stock count objectives Waste disposal objectives Daily Laboratory Duty objectives SHEQ Compliance objectives General function objectives Attention to Detail Problem Solving Ethical Behaviour Personal Development Flexibility / Adaptability Excellence Orientation Drive and believe in the cause Customer Service Orientation Relationship Building Communication Engaging Diversity Teamwork Customer Service Orientation Ethical Behaviour Excellence Orientation Engaging Diversity Teamwork Overtime as and when required Shift work and weekend duties as required General physical health and reasonable endurance and mobility Proficient eye-sight Grade 12 with Maths and 1 Science subject Science jobs
