Digital Designer
Remote from South Africa, reporting to our London office.
Overview
We are looking for a creative thinker to develop and deliver compelling digital solutions for our blue‑chip clients. The role involves responding to creative briefs, designing user experiences, and maintaining high quality across all digital assets.
Responsibilities
- liaise closely with current clients and attend creative meetings throughout projects
- develop and maintain formal and informal relationships with clients, instilling confidence and respect
- work closely with the Creative Director and Account Directors to understand creative strategy, commercial imperatives, and context
- push and challenge the creative brief to produce outstanding digital concepts
- produce high‑quality experience designs that adhere to best practice and communicate messages compellingly
- source quality imagery and supervise the production of assets
- ensure all internal review and approval processes are followed before presenting to clients
- brief the Application Development team on programming requirements and collaborate to maintain design integrity
- evaluate new and alternative creative technologies to improve skills, productivity, and reduce costs
- deliver high‑quality designs
- achieve high levels of client satisfaction and earn their trust and respect
- gain the trust and respect of the internal team
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Degree level qualification from a reputable Art / Design college (beneficial)3–5 years’ experience in digital communications and designExcellent knowledge of digital channels, including microsites, email marketing and social mediaFluent in XD, Photoshop and ideally IllustratorStrong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills to build trust with clients and teamExcellent eye for detail, ambitious quality standards and a constant pursuit of excellenceReporting Relationships
Report to the Lead Digital Designer and be responsible for delivering work to specification and schedule to Digital Project Managers and Head of Digital Delivery.
