Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to drive strategic asset care, maintenance excellence, and operational continuity across multiple breweries and plants. This role is critical in ensuring sustainable operations, capability development, and the successful execution of investment projects.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
- Define and align functional strategy with business needs and VPO.
- Establish KPIs, reporting systems, and provide insights to drive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, SHE standards, governance frameworks, and audit closure.
- Oversee technology upgrades, change management, and adherence to global standards.
Continuity & Risk
Develop and standardize Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.Mitigate obsolescence risks and ensure sharing of best practices across markets.Optimize shutdown planning, ramp-up, and resource deployment.Skills & Capability Development
Build robust talent pipelines for all maintenance functions.Deliver training, coaching, and compliance assessments on VPO maintenance.Drive MRO pricing agreements, optimize spares usage, and manage CAPEX / ZBB maintenance budgets.Support delivery of Value-Add initiatives and resource allocation for country-level projects.Projects & Investments
Define capital investment requirements and evaluate plant capacity expansion.Ensure technical standards, training needs, and spares requirements are addressed from inception to handover.Partner with suppliers to define SLAs and ensure operational readiness for new projects.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BTech or equivalent).8–10 years’ leadership experience in maintenance / engineering, ideally within the brewing or FMCG industry.Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges with pragmatic solutions.Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple plants / sites simultaneously.Attributes
