IT Helpdesk First Line Support - Fixed Term Contract

We are the market leader in commercial real estate services and investments and provide an integrated suite of high-quality real estate services to our clients across Africa and the Middle East, including facilities management, advisory & transaction services, project management. We support predominantly corporate clients who buy services on a contracted basis all across the Middle East and Africa, and even globally depending on their portfolio.

Main purpose / objectives

Support an effective computer environment to make users more productive in executing their business processes and provide first line end user support to ensure an excellent IST experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer helpdesk phone calls
  • Log calls
  • Assign calls
  • Consolidate calls

Experience / Education

  • 2-3 years’ experience of working on an IT helpdesk, answering phones, logging and reassigning calls and providing 1st line remote support.
  • Skills / Competencies

  • General understanding of IT helpdesk operation, and broad understanding of IT support
  • Ability to translate clients’ problems into detailed logged calls
  • Remote support, assisting staff with first line issues, printing, logging on etc.
