We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Personal Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective time management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for senior executives
  • Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Screen and prioritise incoming calls, emails, and visitors
  • Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Take minutes during meetings and distribute them to relevant parties
  • Assist with event planning and coordination when required
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 8 -15 years as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in calendar management and travel planning
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to work
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory
  • Relevant administrative certifications are advantageous
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
