Job Description Summary

WPI is seeking a temporary Research Assistant to assist in Professor Sergey Makaroff lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform a bulk download of microglia, oligodendrocytes, pieces of astrocytes, and other non‑neuronal cells for the Minnie 65 brain sample from the Allen Institute of BrainScience (Seattle).
• Obtain at least 40 cells in STL format and proofread them.
• Heal the meshes with alpha wrapping.
• Register the meshes with the 81 neuronal cells downloaded previously.

Compensation

$20 per hour.
