Location : remote island of St Helena; population around 4,500; hospital with 28 beds.

The client is seeking a COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSE (CHILDREN & ADOLESCENT) with at least five years of experience for a 4-month contract starting ASAP.

The candidate will be responsible for a caseload of patients who have complex and substantial mental health needs, primarily children and adolescents. The post holder will work as a member of the Community Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include managing a caseload of children and adolescents with complex mental health needs and contributing as a member of the Community Mental Health Team.

Requirements

• Registered with a current registration certificate
• UK Registered Level 1 Mental Health Nurse (or equivalent)
• Minimum of five years post-registration experience , including community psychiatric care and / or a Children & Adolescents Mental Health Service background
• In-depth knowledge and specialist experience / postgraduate qualification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Neurodiversity
• Salary up to £40,000.00 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience. Low Tax regime
• 4 month locum. Start ASAP.
