Job Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Copywriter, preferably with digital / social experience, to work three days on‑site in Bryanston and two days remotely; budget R47,850, starting between mid‑October and 1 Nov.

About the Role

Your words will inform and engage target audiences. As a copywriter you will write clear and concise copy for emails, campaigns, ads, publications, and websites. You must be a skilled writer, open‑minded, and capable of shifting your style to suit different industries and clients. You must also think critically and work under tight deadlines.

Hiring Process

  • Review of your application against our job requirements – every application receives a detailed human review rather than machine‑based screening.
  • Invite to submit a video interview for the hiring manager’s review; this may be followed by a test or short project to assess fit.
  • Interview with the hiring manager and / or interview team. Interviews are conducted face‑to‑face or via Zoom; text‑messaging, Telegram, etc. are not used.
  • Decision stage – if a fit, we discuss the offer with the successful candidate in a live conversation.

Qualifications

  • Proven English writing skills.
  • Previous copywriting experience (2+ years).
  • Technical knowledge and B2B writing experience preferred.
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and edit work on short notice based on client or QA feedback.
  • Other concentrations welcome.
