EXPERIENCE : 6-8 Years related experience

POSITION : Contract : 01 November 2025 31 December 2028

COMMENCEMENT : 01 November 2025

LOCATION : Hybrid : Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office rotation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience
  • SAP MM Certification
  • S / 4 HANA Certification
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience

Essential Skills & Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Good working knowledge in Material Master (MM) processes
  • Master data distribution experience with external systems (RFC & Idoc, webservices, EDI)
  • SAP MM customizing expertise including :

    • Process Chains setup and customization

  • Batch job variants configuration
  • Core interface integration models
  • Custom tables and master data chains for ATLAS markets
  • Supply Chain planning tools, methodologies, and spare parts logistics knowledge

    • Functional Knowledge

  • Expert understanding of Material Planning processes :

    • MRP replenishment

  • Stock ordering and inventory management
  • Purchase requisition / order creation
  • Order proposal generation
  • Interfacing to planning and ordering tools
  • Expert knowledge of core interfaces and operational activities :

    • Housekeeping procedures

  • Daily monitoring protocols
  • Batch job and queue monitoring
  • Expert troubleshooting skills for incident handling within Business SLA requirements
  • Working knowledge of supply chain processes including purchasing, imports, materials planning, forecasting, and distribution

    • Advantageous Skills

  • S4 / HANA implementation / migration experience
  • Agile Methodology expertise
  • ABAP debugging skills
  • APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) experience
  • Solution Manager experience

    • Key Responsibilities

    Business Analysis & Design

  • Understand business requirements and prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documentation
  • Obtain user sign-offs for functional and technical design documents
  • Proactively propose solutions to improve business process support
  • Execute required changes through configuration
  • Interact with cross-functional consultants for integration requirements

    • Testing & Implementation

  • Prepare test data and documentation
  • Conduct Unit tests, Regression tests, and System Integration security tests
  • Record and document test results
  • Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners
  • Plan go-live milestones and execute migration, cutover, and Go-Live activities
  • Provide post Go-Live support

    • Ongoing Support & Collaboration

  • Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and emails
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of Production Support tickets within defined SLAs
  • Develop user interface transactional solutions
  • Analyze and scope end-user authorization roles
  • Execute according to Agile Methodology
  • Attend all team meetings including Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning
  • Daily use of Agile Tool Chain as required by feature teams
