ITAD Store is the retail and distribution arm of ITAD Africa (Pty) Ltd, specialising in the sale of legacy, refurbished, and new IT hardware. We operate as a circular-technology marketplace, providing high-quality, professionally refurbished servers, laptops, networking equipment, and storage systems to businesses, resellers, and individual customers across South Africa and the wider African region.
Our philosophy — "Smart Circular IT" — reflects our commitment to sustainability, affordability, and performance. We extend the life of IT equipment through professional refurbishment and responsible resale, ensuring that technology continues to deliver value long after its first use.
Through ITAD Africa's distribution channel and partnerships with OEM suppliers, and other ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) companies, ITAD Store combines commercial excellence with environmental responsibility — making technology more accessible while reducing e-waste.
Purpose of the Role
The Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in expanding ITAD Store's sales footprint, driving revenue across both retail and wholesale channels. The incumbent is responsible for selling legacy, refurbished and new IT equipment, managing online marketplace listings, and coordinating with internal and external partners to source high-demand assets. This position bridges customer needs with available inventory, ensuring product availability, competitive pricing, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities across corporate, reseller, and retail customers.
Online Sales & Marketplace Management
Manage listings, pricing, and product descriptions on ITAD Store's e-commerce platform, and other online marketplaces (eBay, Takealot, Bobshop, Amazon etc.).
Asset Coordination & Stock Sourcing
Collaborate with ITAD Africa's asset recovery and refurbishment teams to identify resale-ready inventory.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain detailed records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Sustainability & Brand Stewardship
Promote ITAD Store's circular-economy mission in all client interactions.
