District 6 Cape Town R40 000 - R50 000 per month

The Role : Sales Manager

As Sales Manager youll lead and inspire a high-performing sales team responsible for designing extraordinary travel experiences across Africa. Youll drive results through leadership strategy and mentorship ensuring that every guest journey embodies the companys commitment to quality and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead motivate and coach a team of travel consultants to achieve and exceed sales and service targets

Monitor performance metrics analyse results and implement targeted coaching and development plans

Identify and address skills gaps through structured training and continuous improvement initiatives

Develop and execute sales strategies to maximise repeat business referrals and revenue growth

Ensure consistent delivery of premium service standards and seamless client experiences

Collaborate with Product Marketing and Operations teams to enhance conversion rates and optimise sales processes

Manage team scheduling reporting and compliance activities effectively

Serve as the first escalation point for client or supplier issues ensuring timely professional resolution

Present performance reports and insights to senior leadership recommending strategic improvements

About You

Minimum 5 years experience in a Sales Management role within travel tourism or hospitality

Strong leadership and mentoring ability with proven success developing high-performing teams

Deep understanding of luxury African travel markets and discerning client expectations

Excellent communication interpersonal and relationship management skills

Data-driven analytical approach with experience in forecasting and target setting

Proficient in Google Workspace; Salesforce CRM experience is an advantage

Financial acumen and budget management skills beneficial

Based in or able to commute to Cape Town
