Salary : R45 000 to R50 000 a month + Benefits

As a Procurement Manager at a large and established Courier Company, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process within the organization, ensuring efficient sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services required for business operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs, develop and implement procurement strategies, and establish vendor relationships to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a thorough understanding of procurement best practices.

Minimum Requirements :

• Own vehicle
• Tertiary qualification in procurement and / or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships effectively
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes and outcomes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as familiarity with ERP systems for inventory management and procurement automation
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing procurement challenges and opportunities
