Servest Security, a Business Unit of Servest has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the Western Cape team. The role of the Operations Manager is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the client's needs are efficiently and professionally met. The position is based at Western Cape and reporting to the Branch Manager.Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12Qualification in Security Management, Emergency Management, Business Management or related field5 - 10 years’ experience in the security industryGrade A PSIRA registeredProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office & ExcelStrong working knowledge of operational proceduresReport writing skillsValid drivers licenceMedical fitnessClear criminal recordDuties & Responsibilities
Daily running of site(s) in liaison with the Branch Manager / General Manager.Report changes of rosters to the Roster Clerk and ensure that the changes are made, and new rosters are printed.Re-deployments of officers must be done on paper and given to the Easy Roster Clerk.Ensure correct number of guards is posted on sites according to contractual needs.Report site incidents to the Branch Manager / General Manager immediately.All incident Reports needs to be forwarded to the client within 24 hours.Visit the sites at least once or twice a week.Ensure that job descriptions, risk assessments and site procedure manuals are on sites.Attend to the officers’ problems / queries and handle them promptly and efficiently.Check on the status of all control room equipment and systems.When issuing the uniform to the officers, the uniform kit issue form must be completed and placed in the officer’s file.Inventory of all equipment to be kept up to date daily and regular equipment audits must be done to determine equipment status.Liaise with clients on standard and quality of services rendered.Attend client meetings.Ensure staff details and records are kept up to date and in accordance with requirements.Ensure that knowledge is tested regularly by means of verbal and written tests (to be placed on their personnel file) and provide feedback of training provided in the monthly report to be forwarded to the client.Plan, implement and manage growth strategy with the respective Key Account Executive for your assigned area to assist in your respective Branch in achieving its sales targets.Ensure health and safety regulations are complied with by colleagues, management, contractors and or any other relevant stakeholders.Deadline : 12th November,2025
