Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?Key Purpose of this role is to take the Strategic lead for the Engineering and Utilities functions in the Brewery.

This includes the operational management of Environmental plant and equipment.

To lead related Strategic Initiatives in the Brewery, ensuring Corporate Governance for equipment and system integrity through the application and adherence to relevant Standards and Legislation.Key Roles and Responsibilities : Maintain safe healthy and risk free working environmentEnsure safety, healthy & environmental legislation complianceMaintain safety and housekeeping standardsManage Human ResourcesDevelop employees based on identified needs through OPR sessionsEnsure a healthy industrial relations climateManage technical pipeline for key rolesManage apprenticeship and artisan development for siteEnsure manufacturing systems and instrumentation integrityMaintain system integrity and change controlMaintain and calibrate site instrumentationEnsure engineering standards complianceEnsure application documented standardsDevelop and update engineering standards through ZBS Maintenance and Energy & FluidsLead the maintenance strategy as per VPO - Maintenance PillarOptimise use of planned maintenance systemApply formal failure analysis processApply relevant engineering spares strategyImplement VPO and associated GOP'sManage progress according to glide paths set and agreedImplement E&F tool kit and sustain derived improvementsManage all site projectsProject completion on time and in budgetEnsure compliance to MOCManage financial performanceManage ZBB Maintenance and CAPEX budgeting processControl departmental costsReview financial resultsManage the utilities usagesEnsure accurate reporting and quick action taken for any deviationsManage identified VA & SWEEP InitiativesSource funds to implement VA initiativesMonitor for result improvementsImplement E&F Global processes and best practices (GOPs, SWEEP, Levers etc.

Business Continuity & Risk ManagementDevelop and standardize system Utilities availability BCP plans for plantDevelops and implements approaches to mitigate obsolescenceEnsure sharing of best practices for Utilities managementMonitors Utilities quality parameters (IQMS)Implements Ammonia and Steam Process Safety Management programsManage Safety, Upholding (UPP) and Cost CAPEX portfoliosEnsure a 3 year plan exists for : - Maintenance and replacement of Plant Equipment across Sites - Maintenance and replacement of C&A infrastructure due to obsolescenceManage the operational requirements of the brewery Environmental functionEnsure that environmental plant and equipment is operated and maintained as per best practice guidelinesEnsure revenue streams from waste and by-products are optimisedMinimum Requirements : 3-year appropriate tertiary qualification, i.e.

B-Tech : Mechanical or Electrical, BSc.
