Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Physics Teacher role based in Hartbeespoort, North West, South Africa. The Physics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective physics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing classroom activities, evaluating student performance, and providing individualized support as needed. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school‑wide activities will also be an important part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in Physics and Physics Education
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and experience in Teaching
• Solid understanding of Mathematics, with the ability to integrate it into physics instruction
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility, dedication, and a passion for fostering student success
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field (required)
• A teaching qualification and previous teaching experience in a Cambridge school are advantageous
