Hominum Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our clients team at a leading sand, stone, and aggregates supplier . The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales , a strong understanding of the construction materials market , and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers in the industry.
Objectives of the Role
- Generate new business and drive sales growth within the sand, stone, and aggregates sector
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
- Build and strengthen relationships with construction companies, contractors, and project managers
- Proactively cold call potential customers within the construction and supply chain industry
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities , converting leads into successful deals
Key Responsibilities
Visit construction sites , clients , and existing accounts to ensure customer satisfactionDevelop new business by targeting contractors, builders, and developersUnderstand the aggregates and construction materials market to identify opportunitiesPlan and manage daily and weekly schedules for client visits and lead follow-upsPrepare and follow up on quotes and orders to secure salesProvide product knowledge and assist customers with selecting the right materialsAchieve and exceed sales targets and KPIsRequired Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of proven sales experienceStrong customer relationship management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesSelf-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive marketProficient in using PCs, tablets, and mobile devices , with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Valid drivers license and own reliable transport (advantageous for site visits)Salary :
R8 to 10K basic with Commission
