Job description

We are seeking a mid-level .NET Developer with strong experience in C# and SQL to join our in-office development team. The ideal candidate will be a confident problem-solver who can take ownership of tasks and work independently without constant supervision.

Location : Cape Town. Northern Suburbs – Bellville / Durbanville

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET (Framework or Core)
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures (MS SQL Server)
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and data inconsistencies
Translate business requirements into efficient and reliable technical solutions
Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality code and maintainable systems

Requirements :

3–5 years of professional experience with C# and .NET

Strong SQL Server skills, including query optimization and stored procedure development

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Solid understanding of software development best practices

Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git)

Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework or Dapper

Exposure to REST APIs and service-based architecture

Must be able to understand / speak Afrikaans

Must have a Drivers License
