Job descriptionOversee and review monthly accounting processes and reconciliations. Compile and analyse detailed management reports to support business performance. Manage cash flow, investments , and approve payments and collections. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with precision and insight. Ensure all control accounts, balance sheets, and income statements are reconciled monthly. Prepare and submit VAT, income tax, and statutory returns ( FSCA, Prudential Authority, SARB, SARS, NAMFISA ). Compile annual financial statements in line with IFRS. Liaise with auditors and resolve outstanding reconciliation items. Identify and implement process and internal control improvements. Partner with regional managers to deliver timely and accurate financial information. Qualified CA(SA) . 2+ years post-articles experience, ideally within Financial Services or Short-Term Insurance. Strong MS Excel Experience with Great Plains, SAP, or Accpac is advantageous. Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities.
