Lead Data Architect (Cloud Solutions)

We are currently partnering with a client within the Financial Services industry who has an amazing opportunity for a Lead Data Architect (Cloud Solutions) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Cape Town, on a Hybrid work set up.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategy and planning
Project related deliverables and tasks
Staff and talent management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

8-10 years' experience in IT systems and analysis

10+ years' experience with analytical tools and BI tools and visualisation

5+ years' experience in cloud computing infrastructure (e.g., AWS EC2, Elastic MapReduce, S3, RedShift, Glue, etc.)

Experience in Data Lake and relational databases (RDB)

8-10 years' experience delivering business capabilities for Financial Services

Deep knowledge of contemporary architectural principles across the data architectural domain

Understanding of enterprise architecture to ensure ongoing alignment, driving the technical road map for key applications and platforms

Knowledge of different SDLC Methodologies
